EDGE - Why push oneself to the edge? Exertion and Exhaustion are the starting points for this project. Movements are inspired by wrestling, sparring, avoiding, and throwing weight. It is a visual depiction of the body and kinetic forces in motion, graphically transformed into an immersive and hypnotic thrust through physical extremes. Sound is limited to the immediate environment recording. The heavy breathing and foot sequences are manipulated to enhance the endless reflections of energy. The EDGE is intense. 2020
